Maybe this is better if I quasimodo it, it should be rather empty because you're Emanuele max, are you stupid? You are doing very nicely, sir.
Maybe do a POV review of the new bondage what's up, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to this POV review by out atop an owl, my name is Max, and today we are here with the old new Porsche 911 992 Carrera S.
Recently we have driven the 992 Carrera 4s SoDo on with four-wheel drive, but we thought, let's take the two wheel, drive version as well and see what the difference is.
So today is going to be sort of a short little driving experience of the Carrera S.
As you can see, it is at night it is 10 past 9:00 in the evening right now and we thought well, let's do a little quick review with the Carrera S and take it to the ultimen.
It should be rather empty over there.
So should be a lot of fun if you haven't seen the review of the Carrera 4s yet, and you want to see that one click in the top right corner maybe come back after that to check out this one and don't forget to subscribe and hit the Notification bell to receive updates when we upload a new video and follow us on Instagram at o2 top and album alright.
So right now, I'm going to do a walk around show you, the incredible spec we've got it in then we'll take it for Drive I'll.
Do a 0 to 100 kilometer an hour measurement over there and we'll take it to the altar man.
I hope with enough light to properly blasts it down there.
Okay, so we've got a dark blue 911.
I'M not sure what the correct English name is, but I'm calling it gentian blue.
It is really really beautiful.
It'S a deep, dark blue! It looks exceptionally well on this car.
If you ask me, I think it looks really cool, especially with that light bar running across the rear.
With that retro 911 badge, dual exhaust we've got the sport exhaust as well, and we've got the 20-inch RS Spyder wheels at the front and the 21 inch at the rear, with some goodyear eagle f1 tires.
Very very.
I really love this spec.
I loved the red brake callipers with the blue car.
I think it looks really good.
What do you guys think? Let me know I'll crouch down, because you're always complaining that I'm too tall, so maybe yes, much better? Okay enough, let's go and drive it before.
It gets dark so in here we've got a Carrera S, logo on the door.
Sill the speck on the inside is a little less exciting than on the outside.
We'Ve got a little black leather, although I have to say that the quality of this leather is really good.
It'S so supersoft and well it's super nice.
Of course we've got aluminum trim, but it's a little bit dull.
If you ask me, especially compared to the outside, which is beautiful, so we've got the digital instrument cluster, with the floating displays and the analogue rev counter in the middle, we've got the entire system, which is great, and we can select our driving modes there as well Start it up and we can use the driving selector.
I said this in my carrera 4s review as well.
I don't like this new drive selector.
I think the old one was much nicer, but we'll just go to sport, Bluffs and I think that's it yeah.
Okay.
So I'm going to try to compare it to the 4s and I'm also sort of going to try to compare it to the 718 models, because I drove that one today as well earlier today.
So I have that you know still fresh in my mind so immediately when you get into this car after you've driven a 718.
The first thing you notice that this car feels so much bigger it.
Just it's, it feels heavier.
It feels bigger, it's less agile and that's something you notice when you get out of the 718, but you maybe wouldn't notice.
If you would drive it, you know regularly.
Alright, so we've all right.
So the Carrera S has 450 horsepower 530 Newton meters 0 to 100 3.
7 seconds.
If you have the sports chrono package, which we do because we have this stopwatch and the drive selector, that means we've got launch control as well.
So that means that it does 0 to 100 in 3.
5 seconds.
Let'S see if that's correct, oh you have to shift yourself because you're Emanuel max, are you stupid? Jesus? Okay, at least my tires? Are warm now, okay, again, three point four seven, so that is right on the money.
Let'S see, if we can do another one, that's a little hook up come on come on come on 3.
38 man.
This thing is ridiculously quick.
I mean this is just a Carrera S and it already does like 3.
35, we did earlier, which is totally insane.
Okay, turn off traction control back into manual mode, we're Jesus okay, so this is kind of cool I'll.
Show you well! This guy gets out of us.
You have this little Porsche right here and you have the buttons.
So if I hit the spoiler, you can actually see the spoiler opening and, yes, it is open and we can if yep there it goes.
So that's pretty cool right.
It looks very good.
It'S it's very high-resolution: okay, uh yeah.
Let'S go oh man! That is what I'm talking about this car feels so good and, as I said it, it feels a little heavier than the 718, but still it feels like for this segment.
It feels so poised and it feels so balanced and it just feels like you can really do anything with it and it will talk to you.
It will let you know what is happening and it will say: okay, that's too much or yes, you are doing very nicely, sir.
Indeed, let's get that tail out and enjoy that four-wheel steering which we also have.
So that means that the rear of the car is a little bit more agile as well.
It can feel a little bit weird, sometimes because it feels like the rear is doing something different, but it actually works really really well, let's see what we can do.
It is truly the last slide of the day.
Okay, here we go top speed is three hundred and eight kilometers an hour, which is two kilometers, our Borden vote for us we drove recently.
So do you need a 4s? Do you want the 4s? No, you! You want this one, you want the grass, you don't need a four-wheel drive.
Unless you live in a country as very cold winters.
I would recommend getting yes, 300 for the chassis a little bit less nervous, that's three leva 17:18 honey! So easy - and it's so discard, is so what a car, what a freakin car and how about this empty Altima guys I mean this is this: is the wet dream of every petal, what a freaking machine so as I was trying to who explain? Maybe I should have done that here and settle down anyway.
This car is so good.
This car has so much grip already that you don't really need the 4s.
As I said, unless you live in a country that has very cold winters, let's say you live in the north of the United States or you live in Scandinavia.
The sound is so good as well.
I'Ve talked about this in the 4's review as well.
I know that a lot of people don't really like the fact that it's turbocharged now, but it just sounds so good.
It still has there's really nothing to complain about with this sound.
Okay, let's see if we can do anything houseful.
This side 7:18 feels more at home yah.
I sort of hope that you guys can see how it's sort of funny to see that comparing these Porsches so competitors, it always seems like people say yes, it's the best, but is it the most exciting? Is it you know, does it give you the most fizz in the pants? Well, you get the fizz and depends because it is so easy because it feels like the car isn't even trying it's like.
Okay, you want to go 3:22 on this.
Alter bond right now.
Sure max, let's go we'll do it, it doesn't break a sweat, it's just super impressive and because this is sort of the benchmark still it would be interesting to compare it to one of its competitors.
So, let's see if, for example, and as the Martin voltage, the new one, the v8 - maybe that would be cool to compare this to and to maybe do a POV review of both of them together, yeah.
That would be nice right.
Okay, so we're going to try and organize that so stay tuned, make sure you subscribe and I'll see you at the next video guys.
